SPIRIT DRUM CIRCLE ... Spirit Drum Circle is an opportunity to experience the voice of the drum, as a voice of healing and celebration. The intent is simple: explore and learn ways to speak an ancient language of the soul, through the rhythms of the drum, the sounds of our voices and the intentions of our hearts.
Mz. imani has been playing drums since 1986 and is an experienced teacher, ritualist and performer. In this class, Mz. imani will offer perspectives, poly-rhythms, chants and practice exercises that will help deepen your access to one of the many languages of spirit.
